What is Grumium

Grumium is an orange giant in Draco, 112 light-years away, set near the head of the mythological creature that guards the celestial north pole. Its name comes from the late Latin «grumium», meaning jowl or jaw —an anatomical detail of the beast. It shines with a warm tone, the heritage of a core that has already spent its hydrogen and now burns helium in a serene old age.
