Its story
77 Herculis shines in the Greek hero at 375 light-years, a white A-type star. The bluish-white of its light reveals a young, hot surface. Hercules occupies a vast region of the northern summer sky, beside the great globular cluster M13. 77 is part of the background weave: a clear flame among thousands of lights that form the woven exploits of a myth.
