Its story
Among the shoulders of Hercules beats a white A-type star about 405 light-years away. Its light set out around 1621, when Kepler was publishing his Epitome of Copernican Astronomy and proving that orbits are ellipses, not perfect circles. Hotter and denser than the Sun, it radiates a clean, almost surgical white, stitched into the hero's armor.
