Its story
In the small Triangulum Australe, hidden from northern skies, glows an orange K-type giant 786 light-years away. Its warm light set out during the Hundred Years' War, when Joan of Arc entered Orléans. Cooler than the Sun yet far vaster, its golden gleam marks one vertex of the triangle that southern navigators adopted as a beacon.
