Xi
Its story
Xi Coronae Borealis is a yellow giant of the red clump, stars that have settled into steady helium fusion at their cores. A very close companion sits almost glued to it in the sky. It shines along the slender diadem of the Northern Crown, the delicate arc mythology gave to Ariadne.
