Hot blue starIts story
In the constellation of the Wolf burns a blue star, its surface so hot that its light leans into the ultraviolet. Its glow travelled almost four centuries before reaching us: it left around 1626, when the Peace of Westminster was signed and the Dutch founded New Amsterdam. It is one of those young, fierce furnaces our warm golden Sun will never imitate.
