Its story

Psi-2 Lupi is a blue-white B-type star about 364 light-years away, embedded in the Scorpius-Centaurus association —the closest brotherhood of young massive suns to ours. It outshines the Sun many times over, yet its life will be brief on cosmic scales: stars of its kind devour their hydrogen so greedily that they are condemned to fade, or detonate, within a few hundred million years.
