Its story

Boötes, the constellation that climbs every northern spring guided by Arcturus, also hides this K-class orange at four hundred and sixty-seven light-years. Its light departed around 1559, the year the Peace of Cateau-Cambrésis was signed, closing decades of Italian wars between Habsburg and Valois. Four and a half centuries on, that orange photon —carrying the promise of a European balance long forgotten— ends its journey.
