Cool red starIts story
Its red light left Libra around the year 1283, when Thomas Aquinas had just died and Marco Polo was returning to Venice with tales of Cathay. It is an M-type star, cool and deeply red, in that late stage when heat gives way to slowness. The Scales —once split off from the claws of Scorpio— still bear the name of cosmic balance.
