Xi-2
Its story
Xi-2 Librae is an orange K-type giant about 549 light-years away, in the ancient Scales —to the Romans an emblem of justice, to the Greeks part of the Scorpion's claws. Its spectral type marks a star already old, swollen and cooled from its blue past; what we see tonight is the long autumn of a sun that was once hotter and whiter.
