Zeta-4 Librae is a blue main-sequence star in the Scales, part of a scattered multiple system known simply as «Zeta Librae». Its 8,900 K surface places it at the hot end of the visible sky, and its luminosity exceeds five hundred times that of the Sun. At 656 light-years by the Hipparcos figure, it shines near the imaginary pivot of the only zodiacal constellation that is not a living creature.
