Its story

Hot and bluish-white, this Centaurus B-star burns with the energy typical of young, massive stars. Its light has been crossing the galaxy for 353 years: it set out around 1673, while Leeuwenhoek was observing bacteria for the first time under a homemade microscope and uncovering a universe hidden in a drop of water.
