Its story
Centaurus again, this time with a yellow-white F-type light, slightly hotter than the Sun. Its beam came loose around 1909, the year Robert Peary reached —or believed he had reached— the North Pole and cartography was filling in its last blank spaces. From 116 years away, it arrives like an unsettled report from those journeys.
