Its story
A yellow G-class star in Canes Venatici, the hunting dogs, 426 light-years away. The light descending from the celestial north tonight set out around the year 1600, when Giordano Bruno was burned in Rome for holding, among other things, that the stars were distant suns. Today we know it: this is one more of those hypotheses made real.
