Its story
In the Hunting Dogs, a small constellation south of Ursa Major, shines a yellow star at 479 light-years. Its light departed around 1547, when Hernán Cortés was dying in Castilleja de la Cuesta and the European Renaissance was bidding farewell to some of its greatest creators. It is class G like the Sun, though older and more massive: a mature giant whose warm color recalls our star at full dawn.
