Its story
At two hundred and eleven light years, along the spine of the Centaur, a white A-type emits a light whose current photon departed around 1815, the year of Waterloo and the Congress of Vienna that redrew the European map. The constellation that hosts it is one of the largest in the southern sky, home to the closest stellar system to the Sun and keeper of the mythical memory of the wise Chiron.
