Its story
Delta Muscae is one of the closest stars in the small constellation of the Fly, just 91 light-years from the Sun. An orange K-type giant that actually hides an unseen companion, revealed only by the gentle wobble of its spectral lines. Its warm glow drifts through the deep southern sky at 37 km/s, slowly receding from the Solar System.
