Its story

In Virgo, the great zodiacal constellation that stretches over the spring skies, it shines with the smooth white of class A stars. Its light crossed 223 years before arriving: when it set out, Napoleonic troops were redrawing the maps of Europe and Enlightenment science was carefully charting both the sky and the earth.
