Its story
It shines white in Virgo, that broad zodiacal constellation that runs across much of the ecliptic, about 255 light years away. Its light began traveling around 1771, when the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando was being founded and Beethoven was barely a child in Bonn. An A-type star, hotter than the Sun, with the crystalline, clean light proper to stars in their prime. A serene flash among the sown fields of the celestial maiden.
