Its story
6 Corvi is an orange giant about three hundred and thirty-one light-years away, in the small but striking figure of the Crow —four bright stars forming a trapezium easily picked out south of Virgo. Its K type marks an atmosphere cooled by age, with a warm glow like a distant ember. In myth, the crow was Apollo's bird: here, one of the most discreet yet firm in its outline.
