41 Andromedae is an A2 giant with unusually sharp absorption lines, a signature of its slow apparent rotation. It is about 450 million years old and spins at a projected velocity of 84 km/s, while its proper motion shifts it noticeably across the celestial sphere. It shines at 192 light-years in Andromeda, just visible to the naked eye under dark skies.
