Its story
Within the modest Lesser Lion, Leo Minor —that small constellation curled beside the great zodiacal feline— shines an orange type K star, cool and ruddy, older than the Sun. Its light took roughly 638 years to reach us: it set out when the Black Death ravaged Europe and the great Gothic builders were raising Notre-Dame of Paris. It appears today as an ancient ember, faithful witness to that desolated century.
