Its story

In the southern depths of Carina burns an orange giant whose light crossed space for more than thirteen centuries. It set out in the High Middle Ages, when Charlemagne was beginning to unify Europe under a new idea of empire. Cooler and many times larger than the Sun, it has already left its youth behind and moves with the luminous calm of mature stars.
