Its story
11 Canis Minoris peers out from the smaller of Orion's two dogs, a constellation dominated by the nearby brilliance of Procyon. It is a white A-type star with a surface markedly hotter than the Sun's, and its light takes a little over three hundred and one years to cross the void to us. Barely visible to the unaided eye, it demands a dark sky and patience to be picked out.
