Eta
Its story
Eta Canis Minoris is a double F0 hypergiant in the small constellation of the Lesser Dog, the one that follows the Greater Dog at Orion's heels. The primary is a highly luminous yellow giant, and its companion, discovered by Sherburne Burnham in 1872, completes a pair at 318 light-years. A faint light to the naked eye that hides an architecture of formidable proportions on a stellar scale.
