Its story
In the modest Canis Minor, companion to the greater Dog that escorts Orion, vibrates an orange giant 741 light-years away. Its light set out toward the end of the thirteenth century, when Marco Polo was crossing Asia bound for the court of Kublai Khan. A temperature cooler than the Sun's lends its surface a deep amber tone, soft to the eye yet colossal in truth. A silent flame of the northern winter.
