Its story
60 Piscium shines yellow about four hundred and sixty light-years away, in the long, meandering figure of the Fishes that crosses the celestial equator. Its G type makes it a chromatic cousin of the Sun, but its brightness reveals a star somewhat more evolved, slowly on its way toward the next transformation. Pisces hosted the vernal point for centuries: here, the spring equinox left its discreet trace among these stars.
