Star profile
HIP 35363
Variable starWhat is HIP 35363
Toward the stern of the Argo Navis, within the constellation Puppis, glows a bluish B-type sun whose brilliance pulses with a rhythm of its own. Its 803 light-years span a gulf that began trembling while the Christian kingdoms of Iberia were taking Seville and Tartessos vanished beneath medieval strata. The star breathes in silence — its light flickering like a far-off lighthouse lit for no one in particular.
