Its story
Another anonymous orange star in Canis Major, far from the lights of Sirius. Six hundred and sixty light-years away, its light left the star around 1365, when Castile was living through the civil war between Peter the Cruel and Henry of Trastámara. K-type, giant with a cool surface, the colour of red-hot iron. Magnitude 5.77, right at the threshold where the pupil hesitates between star and optical noise.
