Its story
Set within the Greater Dog, this orange giant releases a light that took 402 years to reach our eyes. It departed as Galileo first turned his telescope skyward and discovered the moons of Jupiter. A class-K sun, older and calmer than ours, already swollen into its maturity, it hangs like a deep ember beneath Sirius —keeper of a grave, warm glow.
