Its story
11 Lyncis lives in the most elusive constellation of the northern sky, the figure only Hevelius dared to trace believing that only the lynx could follow it. A white A-type star about 332 light-years away, its light left around 1694, when Newton was publishing his Treatise on the System of the World. In an almost empty field, it shines as a single white point confirming that, yes, the sky breathes there too.
