Its story
It shines white in Monoceros, the unicorn that gallops between Canis Major and Orion, about 212 light years away. Its light set out around 1814, when Napoleon was being exiled to Elba and the peoples of Europe were seeking a new balance at the Congress of Vienna. An A-type star, hotter than the Sun, with that clean white signature proper to young and vibrant stars. A clear flame that seems to gallop alongside the mythical unicorn toward the other side of the sky.
