Its story

In the band of Orion, where hunters and nebulae crowd together, lives a white class A star. Its light has crossed 655 years: when it left, the Black Death had just devastated Europe and the survivors were beginning to rebuild an entire continent. That light traversed the late Middle Ages without knowing it, and lands now on a very different star map.
