Its story
The small constellation of the Hare, crouched beneath Orion, holds this white A-type star some five hundred and fifty-five light years away. Its light peeled away around the Italian Renaissance, when Leonardo was still sketching flying machines in his notebooks. It arrives today, having crossed a silence five hundred years thicker than any book.
