Its story
In the Charioteer's constellation, 420 light-years away, shines an orange type-K star whose light departed when Galileo was defending his heliocentric model before the Inquisition and Kepler was deciphering planetary orbits. Cooler than the Sun yet excessively swollen, it is an ancient giant pouring the brilliance of many suns into space. Its coppery tone is that of a serene ember: the signature of stars that have crossed aeons and still hold, despite everything, a warm and constant light.
