Its story
In Taurus —a constellation laden with myths, from the bull of Europa to the Aldebaran of the Persians— lives an orange K-type star. Its light has been crossing the void for nearly four hundred seventy-seven years: it set out when Copernicus was publishing De revolutionibus and beginning to dismantle the notion of a motionless Earth. Cooler and more mature than the Sun, it glows in a soft amber tone. A small ember in the flank of the celestial bull, kindled on the eve of the astronomical revolution.
