Its story
In the waters of Eridanus, shines a yellow-white F-type star 86 light-years away. Its light set out in the mid-twentieth century, as the BBC broadcast Elizabeth II's coronation and television entered millions of homes for the first time. Hotter and more luminous than the Sun, it is one of those relatively nearby stars that age slowly while human civilisation learns to tell its story.
