Psi

Its story

Psi Tauri is a yellow-white star just 90 light-years away, set within the field of the Bull but unrelated to the Hyades cluster surrounding it in perspective. Of type F1 V, it retains 1.6 solar masses and 1.4 solar radii, and spins at 45 km/s after 1.4 billion years of existence. One of those stars that seem to accompany a famous asterism without belonging to it — a mere geometric coincidence of the sky.
