Lam
Its story
Lambda Persei drifts 422 light-years away in the northern reaches of the constellation, far from the blaze of Algol and Mirfak. A white A-type star, young and hot, around twice the Sun's mass, it belongs to the recent generation populating the Perseus belt. Its cool, discreet light shines from the arm of the hero who, in classical tales, holds aloft the Gorgon's head.
