Its story
In Fornax, another quiet austral constellation born from Lacaille's pencil, shines this F-class yellow-white at two hundred and three light-years. Its light departed around 1823, the year the Monroe Doctrine was proclaimed in the United States. Slightly hotter than the Sun, its barely gilded hue easily slips unnoticed among the brighter dots of the celestial furnace.
