Iot-1
Its story
Iota-1 Fornacis is a yellow star in the Furnace, the faint constellation invented by Lacaille in honour of the chemists' furnace of the eighteenth century. It shines at 582 light years away, with a spectral type close to the solar one, though far more luminous because of its evolved stage. Its light set out around the year 1440, when Gutenberg was beginning to shape the printing press with movable type in Mainz.
