Its story
107 Aquarii is in fact an intimate pair: two F-type giants separated by less than seven arcseconds, a couple only a modest telescope can split. The two components —magnitudes 5.72 and 6.72— circle entwined at 239 light-years in Aquarius, offering one of those visual doubles that show how many stars do not live alone. Their combined light barely reaches magnitude 5.28.
