Its story
41 Aquarii is an orange giant 233 light-years away, inside Aquarius, the constellation of the Water Bearer. Its amber tone stands out against the blue of the hot young stars that dot the region. Aquarius is one of the oldest zodiac constellations: the Babylonians drew it more than three thousand years ago. This star glows in an area where every August a shower of meteors seems to fall, though it is really cometary dust.
