What is 32 Aquarii
32 Aquarii burns 222 light-years away, within the stream of water that the Bearer pours toward the southern sky. It is a white A-type star, hotter and more luminous than the Sun, with no detected pulsation and no confirmed companion. Aquarius is among the oldest constellations: in Babylon it was already linked to Ea, god of water, spilling life onto the Earth.

32 Aquarii lies in the southern celestial hemisphere. It is visible to the naked eye under a dark sky. Its best month of the year is August: the Sun sits at the opposite point of the sky and the star culminates around midnight.
