Its story
94 Aquarii shines in the Water Bearer, the zodiacal constellation where Babylonians and Egyptians projected the floods of the Nile. It is a yellow G-type star some 69 light-years away, a close sister of the Sun whose distance has been measured precisely thanks to the parallax of the European Hipparcos satellite. Every flicker reaching us set out around 1957, the very year Sputnik opened the space age.
