Lam

Its story

Lambda Horologii is a yellow-white star at 161 light-years, hanging in a modern southern constellation that nods to the precision pendulum clock of the eighteenth century. It is F-type, slightly hotter than the Sun, part of that temperate band of the spectral catalogue where astronomers patiently hunt for solar analogues. A measured, precise light, set in a constellation devised to measure time itself.
