What is HIP 112417

In Lacerta, the lizard drawn by Hevelius in the 17th century, shines this yellow-white star 186 light-years away. Her light set off around 1840, when Daguerre was revolutionizing the image and the first trains were crossing Europe. A quiet F, neither too hot nor too cool, perched at the edge where the universe turns more predictable.
