Its story
In Lacerta, a small northern constellation drawn by Hevelius in the seventeenth century, this unnamed orange star has been sending its light for 304 years. It set off in 1722, when Vivaldi was composing The Four Seasons. Cooler than the Sun yet already somewhat larger, it is a K-type that has begun the slow climb toward giant. Its discreet coppery gleam slides between the Swan and Andromeda on autumn northern nights.
