Its story
In Aquarius, the water-bearer of the zodiac, glows an orange giant whose light set out around 1722, in the years Bach was writing the Well-Tempered Clavier. Cooler than the Sun and hundreds of times more luminous, it offers the warm hue of stars that have already walked far. After three centuries of travel, its coppery glow settles in a corner of the autumn sky filled with aquatic figures.
