Its story
In the slow course of Eridanus, that celestial river meandering through the south, shines a white star of cool tones. Its light set out around 1827, just as Beethoven was dying in Vienna after leaving us his Ninth Symphony. Hotter and more massive than the Sun, it vibrates with the clean and steady clarity of young A-type stars.
